What I do
My approach to the body is very intuitive and I treat each client uniquely. I use a variety of modalities and styles to curate a treatment unique to the individual, but mostly I help my clients heal the relationship with their body through deep presence and education. I am passionate about translating the archetypal, symbolic mystery language of the body into accessible wisdom to the individual client, allowing them to feel seen in a way that promotes healing and restoration. My goal is to help my clients discover their body's innate intelligence and potential to facilitate a healthy integration of the body, mind and spirit.

Massage therapy consists primarily of my hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. The treatment is done with or without oil, and while you are on the massage table in between sheets. You may remove as little of your clothing as you are comfortable with. During the treatment, you will be draped so that only the part of your body being treated is uncovered.
I use my current knowledge of anatomy and physiology to combine traditional Swedish and modern Massage Therapy techniques with exercise and other therapies like FST to treat my clients. I specialize in Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, Pre/Post Natal and Breast Massage. A typical massage therapy session can also include custom essential oil and body butter blends, hot moist towels, a weighted crystal eye mask, candles lit and sage, palo santo or incense burning.

A popular massage technique that provides immense benefit to the Lymphatic System.
Lymphatic drainage massage involves gentle stimulation of the circulatory systems from deeper areas of the body to carry away stagnant toxins and fluids.
It is a very light yet firm touch massage with quick, rhythmic + repetitive strokes and pumping motions.
This is a unique style of lymphatic drainage massage that I’ve created from my experiences working at spas and learning from my mentors that specialize in the principles of lymphatic drainage. The technique can be used for a full body reset that includes head, face, neck and abdomen, or just as a local focus to an area.

A unique system of manual therapy, which has proven to be highly successful in the treatment of common neuro-myofascial imbalances, disorders and dysfunctions. This method is recognized for restoring and maintaining healthy neurological, musculoskeletal and fascial systems. It includes assisted stretching which focuses on the muscles, joints, and connective tissue.
With my client on a treatment table, comfortable straps are applied to stabilize inactive limbs and body parts to facilitate complete relaxation and effectiveness. My priority above all is to calm my client's nervous system by synchronizing my movement and breath with theirs.
What makes this therapy different from other flexibility programs is that each stretch begins with a light traction of the joint being treated. This allows for a deeper stretch by creating more space in joint. The stretches increase range of motion of the joint and extensibility of connective tissues, using multiple planes of movement. It is pain free and relaxing.

An essential treatment during pregnancy. Ease your mind, rejuvenate your body, and find relief from stress. This serene massage promotes comfort by improving circulation, alleviating joint pressure, reducing swelling, and relieving any aches or pains.
I use pillows to position you comfortably on the table at all stages of your pregnancy, and my oils are hypoallergenic, safe and gentle.
Please note: I do not use a table with holes in it for the prenatal massage; they put too much strain on your uterine ligament which can lead to discomfort for the parent and is not ideal for the baby either.

Just as crucial as prenatal care, receiving massages after giving birth is highly recommended. Giving birth is a massive change in the body and the transition into motherhood will benefit off of this support. This rejuvenating and restorative massage alleviates muscle aches and fatigue, reduces swelling, induces relaxation, minimizes stress, and helps you manage the physical demands of caring for a newborn. Once your baby has been born, I can use gentle techniques (or not-so-gentle, depending on your preference) on your postpartum body.

From infants to children. How we touch our children is preserved in their memories forever- their skin memories as well as their emotional memories. Loving touches lay the foundation of health, emotional stability and embodiment. Touch is their first form of communication - when massaging you are speaking, and listening to your child, in a whole new way. Parents touching a newborn and each other set the stage for a child’s lifetime sensitivity to tender touch. In a million subtle messages, decipherable only through the skin, loving touches promise the good life.
The goals of this session are:
To introduce baby to touch therapy and/or receive treatment from a qualified Registered Massage Therapist
To teach parents/guardians the techniques for a full body massage that can be done with their baby(s).
In discussion with you, the RMT will collaborate on an agreed treatment plan, and be in constant communication with your child/client regarding suitability of depth of pressure, the effect of the treatment, and whether any changes/adaptations are needed to increase the comfort of the child.
Benefits of pediatric massage:
Stimulation of all the physiological systems of the body ie. circulatory, nervous, and gastrointestinal
Relieves stress through increased relaxation - both for the infant and for the parent
Helps increase healthy parent-infant interaction - increases bonding
A means of communication between the caregiver & the baby: Increases awareness of infant cues, helps the parent learn how to respond to the baby’s needs, helps synchronize the interchange between the two, helps the baby feel increased trust & security when the contact is reassuring & pleasurable
Provides a time of quiet focus
Provides sensory stimulation which is necessary for growth & development
Helps facilitate motor co-ordination
Helps relieve colic & gas
Helps regulate sleep pattern
Helps strengthen the immune system
We know Infant Massage will be a therapeutic and enjoyable event for you and your infant and wish you many years of happiness as you take your learning back home with your baby!
