Registered Massage Therapy

  • Massage therapy consists primarily of my hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. The treatment is done with or without oil, and while you are on the massage table in between sheets. You may remove as little of your clothing as you are comfortable with. During the treatment, you will be draped so that only the part of your body being treated is uncovered.

I use my current knowledge of anatomy and physiology to combine traditional Swedish and modern Massage Therapy techniques with exercise and other therapies like FST to treat my clients. I specialize in Lymphatic Drainage, Breast + Abdominal Massage, Prenatal + Postpartum Massage. A typical massage therapy session can also include custom essential oil and body butter blends and essential oil aromatherapy. Hot moist towels can be included if desired.

Lymphatic Drainage

  • A popular massage technique that provides immense benefit to the Lymphatic System. The lymphatic system is vital part of the circulatory, immune, and metabolic systems. It keeps body fluid levels in balance and defends the body against infections. When it is not functioning properly, it can cause conditions listed below.

Lymphatic drainage massage involves gentle stimulation of the circulatory systems from deeper areas of the body to carry away stagnant toxins and fluids. It is a very light yet firm touch massage with quick, rhythmic + repetitive strokes and pumping motions. This is a unique style of lymphatic drainage massage that I’ve created from my experiences working at spas and learning from my mentors that specialize in the principles of lymphatic drainage. The technique can be used for a full body reset that includes head, face, neck and abdomen, or just as a local focus to an area.

This treatment would be a great option for those who struggle with inflammation, edema, bloating, brain fog, concussions, post-op, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, (C)PTSD, depression, autoimmune conditions, surgical removal of lymph nodes, lymphedema, lymphatic chronic illnesses, low immune system, chronic fatigue syndrome, PMS, PCOS and nervous system burn-out.

Please come adequately hydrated prior to your session. This may induce detox symptoms after so please listen to your body for your need to rest, take a nap, eat a nourishing meal and continue to hydrate.

Fascial Stretch Therapy

  • A unique system of manual therapy, which has proven to be highly successful in the treatment of common neuro-myofascial imbalances, disorders and dysfunctions. This method is recognized for restoring and maintaining healthy neurological, musculoskeletal and fascial systems. It includes assisted stretching which focuses on the muscles, joints, and connective tissue.

With my client on a treatment table, comfortable straps are applied to stabilize inactive limbs and body parts to facilitate complete relaxation and effectiveness. My priority above all is to calm my client's nervous system by synchronizing my movement and breath with theirs.

What makes this therapy different from other flexibility programs is that each stretch begins with a light traction of the joint being treated. This allows for a deeper stretch by creating more space in joint. The stretches increase range of motion of the joint and extensibility of connective tissues, using multiple planes of movement. It is pain free and relaxing.
